Introduction:

All-new Mahindra Thar 2020 is predicted to be launched in October 2020 with many advanced updates that customers are demanding for an extended period of your time.

Engine:

 The second-gen Thar is predicted to be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine (140PS/360Nm). it'll send power to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission with the choice of an automatic too and a 4x4 drivetrain variant also. Mahindra will also offer the new Thar with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, it's expected to feature a 190 PS/380 Nm 2.0-litre TGDI petrol motor. Moreover, there'll even be an all-new 2.0-litre four-cylinder unit. The transmission options will include a six-speed manual gearbox as well as a torque converter automatic unit, which can perform well in off-roading but with a 6-speed manual and automatic drive also will perform well on highways, like modern changes it'll place on some weight but are going to be sticky on road.

New Features:

Mahindra also will offer the new Thar with various new features including auto AC, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, control, and steering-mounted audio controls.

Mahindra has also provided Safety features on offer, which will be disc brakes on all wheels, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors, which weren't given before. But of these won't be available in earlier price, which started around 5-6 lakh.

Even though it's evolved heavily over the last-gen model, it still retains a number of the normal design elements like circular headlamps, flat bonnet, brick-shaped tail-lights, etc.

Expected Price:

As the car will launch in October, it's expected that the worth is going to be between 8-10 lakh.

The Thar 2020 is going to be underpinned by an all-new ladder on frame chassis. Minor Changes:
