Honda Jazz 2020 Update in India
Honda Jazz 2020 Update in India
While Honda Jazz has not been a very popular car and has been quite underrated in India, the car has been widely successful in the global markets. Starting after lockdown, Honda has been hinting towards a new facelifted Jazz.
According to a report , Rajesh Goel, the senior vice president,
marketing and sales Honda cars limited told that a new Honda Jazz was not very
much unlikely and we may soon see the new car competing Maruti Suzuki Baleno
and current generation Hyundai elite i20.
What about Engine and Performance?
The new Honda Jazz 2020 update will likely
continue with the 1.2litre i-VTEC petrol engine. The engine is believed to produce 89hp of
power and 110Nm of torque. The current generation Honda Amaze comes with the
same engine. A 5-speed manual and CVT transmission may be provided.
Is there any change in looks?
Drastic changes are highly unlikely however
the new Honda Jazz 2020 update will surely come with redesigned bumpers, alloy
wheels , LED headlamps and refreshed
taillights. The interiors may also not change very much unless Honda wants to
increase production costs.
Conclusion
The new Jazz may launch in the Indian
market soon in 2020 and will be offered only a petrol-engine option. It will
rival Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai elite i20 which both are petrol engine
too.
Name |
Price |
Maruti Suzuki Baleno |
Rs.5.63 lakh to Rs.8.96 lakh |
Honda Jazz |
Rs.7.45 lakh to Rs.9.4 lakh |
Hyundai elite i20 |
Rs.6.49 lakh to Rs.8.3 lakh |
Although the base variant of current
generation Honda Jazz costs more than its competition, Honda tries to justify
the price by providing premium features in its car. The new Honda Jazz 2020
update will likely cost more similar to its rivals and aggressive pricing may
help Honda increase their market share.
